Our Story
Established in 1970, Beyond Terry Towels is an Indian manufacturer and exporter of premium high-quality towels. It manufactures a wide range of products including Cotton towels, Bathrobes, Kitchen apparel, Children's Bibs, Hand gloves, Terry slippers, Poncho kids towels, photo towels, Hair wash napkins for women, Doormats, Headbands, wrist bands, personalized embroidered towels and napkins with names, woven logo towels, bleach proof towels, towel bouquets, and gift packs. We make towels from 100% cotton yarn, carded, combed, zero twists, blends of cotton polyester, modal, tencel, and bamboo yarn.
1970
Narayandas Rajgopal Zanwar set up power looms for manufacturing of famous Solapuri chaddars in Solapur.
1992
Later, Mr. Govind Zanwar (B.E. Production, M.E. Plastics - ICT, Matunga, Mumbai) started manufacturing Terry towels in the name of Balaji Weaving Mills.
2005
The firm manufactured premium quality Terry towels mainly catering to merchant exporters who further exported to countries like the Netherlands, etc as well as for domestic sales.
2015
Introduction of Shuttleless Rapeier Jacquard looms with electronic jacquard of 2688 hooks that result in high quality, consistent weaving, high design sharpness, non-Terry Jacquard borders, etc. Balaji Weaving Mills subsequently became Beyond Terry Towels and continues to grow under the strong leadership of Govind Zanwar along with Mr. Madhur Zanwar (B.E. - PICT, Pune) a third-generation entrepreneur.
2019
The firm started to export directly to overseas buyers located in the USA, South Africa, Netherlands, and Uganda (Army) and also supplied its products to the Indian Navy.

During Covid, manufactured and supplied breathable PPE Kits to Government Medical College, Solapur and various hospitals.
2021
With the implementation of a dynamic quality management system, we accomplished ISO 9001-2015.
2022
With extensive research and application, we entered into commercial manufacturing and sale of Bamboo fiber yarn Terry towels and allied products. BTT is also one of the directors in a cluster-based common process house with the latest art of technology
